Pharmaceutical medications prescribed to benefit patients have been a major contributor of misfortune to many family members and friends of mine. These medicines have often been the cause of unfortunate side effects such as addiction, withdrawal from society, psychosis and sometimes death. My work takes a critical view of the overabundance and abuse of dangerous drugs provided by the pharmaceutical industry and medical professionals. The goal of this body of work is to contribute to the understanding of the developing prescription drug crisis in our society while pointing out the entities responsible for their excessive distribution.
